Their overarching vision is to evolve into a vibrant cultural center and a regional catalyst that not only inspires creativity but also provides a platform for accessibility to the arts. This vision embodies a commitment to promoting an understanding of the intrinsic value of artistic expression in everyday life. One of the key initiatives that exemplifies this mission is their annual film festival, which takes place in the picturesque setting of Ocean City. This highly anticipated event has seen remarkable growth over the past nine years, transforming into a beloved community tradition that residents and visitors alike eagerly await each year.

This year, in a bid to enhance accessibility and engagement with the film festival, the Art League of Ocean City made the strategic decision to develop a dedicated app for the event. This innovative move was aimed at making the festival more inclusive and user-friendly, ensuring that a broader audience could participate and enjoy the cinematic offerings. However, the team faced a significant challenge: they had a limited timeframe of just a few weeks to bring this app to life. Undeterred, they leveraged our Find Engage Reward (FER) smartphone app, which allowed them to swiftly create an intuitive and easy-to-navigate digital platform. Thanks to the no-code nature of the system, the ALOC team was able to customize the app to meet their specific needs, ensuring that it would be fully operational and ready to enhance the experience of attendees at this year’s film festival.


As the ALOC team embarked on the process of implementing this new system, they began to explore additional features that could further enrich the user experience. They posed insightful questions such as, "Can we enable attendees to choose their favorite films?" and "Can we gather feedback through polls to assess their experiences?" They also inquired, "Can we encourage festival-goers to share their photos and stories for our social media platforms?" The answer to each of these inquiries was a resounding yes, opening up a world of possibilities for interaction and engagement that had not previously been explored.


The beauty of these daily interactions and the forward-thinking approach taken by the ALOC team is truly commendable. Their proactive mindset reflects a deep understanding of their audience and a commitment to enhancing customer experience. By considering the needs and preferences of their patrons, the Art League of Ocean City is not only fostering a sense of community but also positioning themselves as a leader in the cultural landscape of the region.
